Games: Sentence structure with paper airplanes

This game helps with memorization, listening, and speaking. Draw a dartboard-like target, complete with points, on the white board. Bring a paper airplane to class or ask a student to take a moment to make one. Pair your students and formulate enough questions so that each student can participate twice. Each question must be answered in a full sentence within a 30-second time limit. If the student gives you the answer correctly, he/she throws the paper airplane toward the target and accumulates points. A small prize should be given to the group with the most points. This game is good for low- intermediate levels of all ages. Questions should be formulated according to the material they are learning at the time.
